List of Olympic events to be discontinued

In the wake of Sochi, the IOC have opted to discontinue certain events due to adverse outcomes:

• Men’s Deep Jump
• Super heavyweight pole vault
• Clean and Jerk and Throw
• Shouting (Men’s Lorem Ipsum)
• Equestrian Half Pipe
